With this innovative technique, patients can receive beautiful new teeth in just 24 hours.
Dr Sempf has extensive training and experience in All on 4 dental implants and has completed surgical training at the MaloClinic in Portugal where the revolutionary surgical technique was first developed.
At GC Dental Solutions, we typically perform the surgical component of the treatment under general anaesthetic in hospital (day surgery).
All On 4 Dental Implants:
All On 4 dental implants is a permanent treatment option for replacing your dentures in under 24 hours. This advanced implant procedure can involve a full arch of new teeth that sits on 4 dental implants which support a fixed bridge.
The four titanium implants support a fixed dental prosthesis with 10 to 14 teeth. Once placed, your replacement teeth will look, feel, and function similar to your natural teeth. Compared to other fixed dental treatment options, All On 4 involves no bone grafting, so you’ll recover quickly. This minimally invasive process has a high success rate and causes minimal pain.
For most patients, All On 4 dental implants last for decades. However, the longevity of your implants vary depending on age, your health, and whether you floss and brush your teeth properly.
Cleaning & Care
All On 4 dental implants require no addtional cleaning to your natural teeth. This includes your normal care and general dentistry; daily brushing and flossing, along with regular dental check-ups and cleanings.
Using a Waterpik® every day is an excellent way to clean hard-to-reach places. Making it a point to clean your implanted teeth after each meal will significantly help to maintain the longevity of the implants as well as your overall oral hygiene
In the days and weeks following the surgery, we recommend you exercise caution when using the implanted teeth so as not to hinder the healing process.

Potential Risks & Problems
As with all surgical procedures, there are some risks with All On 4 implant surgery.
All on 4 dental implants risks are very low. On average 5% of implants will not fuse to the bone, which we then call an “implant failure”. However, in most cases a new implant can be placed and there is a high chance that it will integrate into the bone the second time.
There is a low risk of infection with dental implants. An infection after your surgery can occur for a few various reasons; either something may have become contaminated during your implant surgery or it is due to certain lifestyle factors such as smoking, drinking and your hygiene routine.
At GC Dental Solutions, we provide all clients with a list of post-operative care instructions to minimise risk of infection. This covers care immediately following the surgery and into the next few months.
Who Can Benefit?
- Existing denture wearers who are seeking a fixed solution.
- Patients with a failing dentition who don’t want to wear dentures.
